The Faculty of Law of the University of Valladolid (UVA) hosted the VIII Human Rights Congress on July 1, 2 and 3. This annual event is the result of an Academic Agreement between the University of Valladolid and the Law School of ALFA Educación.
The following professors were present: Dr. Thiago Matsushita, Dr. André de Carvalho Ramos, Dr. Marina Faraco, Dr. Lauro Ishikawa, Dr. Bruno Lorencini, Dr. Alexandre Nascimento Pinheiro, Dr. Tulio Augusto Tayano Afonso and Dr. Rennan Faria Krüger Thamay.
The sessions covered topics such as “Fiscal Democracy and Fundamental Rights” and “Economic Development and Human Rights”. Students and academic partners also presented papers.
The congress was a success, bringing together experts, students and professionals to debate and share experiences on human rights.
