On March 17th, UNIALFATEC students participated in a lecture focused on professional practice in the home care field, with an emphasis on expanding career prospects in the healthcare sector.
The activity was specifically designed for third-semester students and was part of an initiative stemming from a partnership between UNIALFA and the company TransMédica Home Care, with the goal of strengthening the link between students and the job market.
The lecture was conducted by nurse Bianca, a representative of the company, who presented to the students how home care services work, in addition to discussing the demands of the area and the professional opportunities that exist in this segment.
During the meeting, aspects related to dispelling prejudices about home care work were also addressed, broadening students' understanding of this field and its possibilities for professional development.
This initiative is part of an institutional movement aimed at bridging the gap between academic training and professional practice, providing students with direct contact with the market and different fields of work.
The partnership between UNIALFA and TransMédica Home Care foresees the implementation of new activities, including lectures and initiatives focused on health, education, and employability.
