UNIALFA participated in the XX Walk of Faith, held during the Pilgrimage of the Divine Eternal Father, bringing together students, teachers, and staff in a moment of faith, fellowship, and integration. The walk marked the presence of the academic community in one of the most traditional religious events in Goiás.
Throughout the journey, the institution's participation was also an opportunity for people who are part of the academic routine at UNIALFA to meet. More than an institutional activity, the walk represented a moment of sharing, spirituality, and strengthening of bonds between students, faculty, staff, and the community.
UNIALFA's activities were also present at the Arena da Gratidão, a free space promoted by the José Alves Group and N&L Indústria to welcome pilgrims passing through the Rodovia dos Romeiros (Pilgrims' Highway). The structure operates on GO-060, Km 10, in front of N&L Indústria, on June 26, 27 and 28 and July 2, 3 and 4, from 5 pm to 10 pm.
At the Arena, the institution provided assistance, guidance, and care to the pilgrims. Students and professors from the Physical Education, Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and other health-related courses participated in the event, offering free services such as blood pressure checks, glucose testing, and guidance focused on the well-being of the pilgrims.
The initiative brought students closer to a practical and human experience. By serving the population in a context of faith and journey, the students were able to put their training knowledge into practice, exercise their listening skills, and understand firsthand the importance of care in different realities.
The organization expects to receive around 50,000 pilgrims during the days the Arena of Gratitude is open. In addition to healthcare services, the space offers support, wellness activities, and experiences geared towards pilgrims traveling along the Pilgrims' Highway.
For UNIALFA, participating in the Pilgrimage of the Divine Eternal Father is a way to be close to the community and transform knowledge into service. Presence in the Walk of Faith and the Arena of Gratitude reinforces the institution's commitment to training professionals who are technically prepared but also sensitive to people's needs.
With this initiative, UNIALFA strengthens its commitment to social responsibility actions, integrates its academic community, and contributes to one of the largest expressions of faith and devotion in the state.
