On Thursday (19), UNIALFA carried out an institutional visit to the National Foundation for the Development of Private Higher Education (FUNADESP), in Brasília. During the meeting, the Commemorative Trophy for UNIALFA's 25th anniversary was presented, in recognition of the partnership built over the years between the institutions.
The agenda is part of the institution's commemorative activities and aims to strengthen relationships with representative entities of private higher education, expanding dialogue and possibilities for institutional cooperation.
FUNADESP works to support the academic and scientific development of private higher education institutions, contributing to the improvement of education, the encouragement of research, and innovation in the sector.
Representing UNIALFA, the following participated in the meeting: Rector Prof. Dr. Nelson de Carvalho Filho, Manager of Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance, Itla Almeida, Manager of Academic Planning and Operations, Maria Regina da Silva Lima, and Marketing Manager, Gustavo Camozzi.
Representing FUNADESP were the superintendent director, Cícero Gontijo, and the scholarship program manager, Sandro Carvalho.
Sandro highlighted the importance of the institutional partnership built over the years:
“We understand this tribute as a clear demonstration of the recognition, affection, and importance of FUNADESP in this joint journey. For us, it is also an indication that this partnership remains solid, prosperous, and yielding significant results.”
He further affirmed the value of the relationship between the institutions: "I reiterate the importance of this meeting as a milestone in institutional strengthening and renewal of the commitment between FUNADESP and UNIALFA, in favor of the development of private higher education in Brazil."
The scholarship manager at FUNADESP also highlighted the role of the rector of UNIALFA, Prof. Dr. Nelson de Carvalho, in the relationship between the institutions:
"I would also like to express our special gratitude to Professor Nelson de Carvalho who, as Rector of UNIALFA, has played a fundamental role throughout almost 17 years of partnership with FUNADESP, always with great dedication, dialogue and a collaborative spirit."
The visit reinforces UNIALFA's position on the national stage, highlighting its commitment to quality education, knowledge production, and the building of strategic partnerships aimed at advancing higher education in Brazil.
