On Friday, August 7th, UNIALFA held the fifth day of Planning Week 2026/2, with activities focused on academic alignment between course coordinators and faculty. The program continued the institutional preparation for the new academic semester, strengthening the organization of pedagogical routines and dialogue between teams.
The day began with a remote activity on physical and virtual libraries and information sources, aimed at teachers and coordinators. The presentation aimed to reinforce the use of available resources to support teaching, research, and the development of academic activities.
Meetings held by each school strengthened semester planning.
In the evening, the program was dedicated to academic alignment with course coordinators and faculty members from each school. The meetings brought together teams from the areas of Architecture, Communication, Law, Engineering, Business, Health, Technology, Pedagogy, and Psychology, allowing each group to discuss the specific demands of their courses and organize strategies for the semester.
Those responsible for the schools and courses participated in the activities, including Paola Monteiro, from Architecture; Joseane Ribeiro, from Communication; André Tokarski, from Law; Isabella Silva, Matheus Bueno and Gustavo Guiotti, from Engineering; Nívea Bernardes, from the Business School; Mariana Viana, Lionora Araújo, Pollyana França, Carolina Fraga and Maria Júlia Cruz, from Health; Rodrigo Ataídes, Adriano Pereira and Richard dos Santos, from Technology; Rosimeire Costa, from Pedagogy; and Hérica Landi, from Psychology.
During the meetings, faculty and coordinators were able to align academic guidelines, organize activities, review teaching strategies, and strengthen integration among the teams. The school-based format favored an approach closer to the realities of each area, respecting the specificities of the courses and the needs of the students.
Integrated planning for the start of classes
The fifth day of Planning Week reinforced the importance of collective preparation for the start of the semester. By bringing professors and coordinators together in spaces for dialogue, UNIALFA strengthens the coherence of academic practices and contributes to activities being conducted with greater clarity, organization, and quality.
The initiative also highlights the institution's commitment to the ongoing professional development of its faculty and to improving the learning experience for students. Throughout the week, the program addressed topics such as inclusion, accessibility, research, innovation, lesson plans, pedagogical practices, and alignment between schools.
The 2026/2 Planning Week will conclude with the Academic and Administrative Convention, scheduled to bring together the governing body, management, course coordinators, and faculty.
With this program, UNIALFA reaffirms its commitment to academic quality, institutional planning, and the development of teaching practices aligned with the contemporary challenges of higher education.
