On August 8th, UNIALFA held a special Orientation and Welcome event for new students at the Perimetral Unit. The activity brought together approximately 100 new students and marked the beginning of their academic journey at the institution.
Designed to welcome, guide, and integrate freshmen, the program introduced students to some of the main spaces, services, and routines that will be part of university life. The goal was to make this initial contact more personal, clarify doubts, and contribute to a smoother adaptation to the new semester.
Freshmen got to know the institution's facilities.
During the welcoming event, the new students participated in a tour of the Perimetral Unit. The itinerary included visits to the library, laboratories, and the Maria Dilda Auditorium, allowing the freshmen to become familiar with spaces used for teaching, study, academic practice, and social interaction.
The experience also helped students familiarize themselves with the structure of UNIALFA and the spaces that will be important throughout their undergraduate studies. For many students, this first contact represents the beginning of a new stage, marked by expectations, discoveries, and the building of bonds with the academic community.
The event was attended by Caio Vieira, Director of Sales, Marketing and Loyalty at UNIALFA, who was present to welcome the new students.
The guidelines facilitated the adaptation to the academic routine.
Another important moment during the welcome event was the presentation given by Hudson Aleixo, Coordinator of the Relationship Center, in Auditorium D. During the meeting, he presented the service and support offered by UNIALFA, in addition to sharing guidance on university life.
The activity allowed freshmen to better understand the available support channels, institutional procedures, and ways to find information throughout the semester. This type of guidance is essential for new students to begin their undergraduate studies with more confidence and autonomy.

The Orientation and Welcome for New Students program is part of UNIALFA's initiatives aimed at welcoming new students. More than just showcasing the institution's physical structure, the initiative seeks to bring students closer to the academic community and demonstrate that the university experience is also built through interaction, support, and a sense of belonging.
With the arrival of the new freshmen, UNIALFA begins another academic cycle, reinforcing its commitment to offering a quality education in a welcoming, integrated environment prepared to support students throughout their undergraduate studies.
