UNIALFA promotes a lecture on mental health and reinforces student support initiatives through Conecta+.

The meeting addressed the emotional challenges of academic life and is part of the institution's Career and Retention Program.

Last Monday (May 12th), UNIALFA held another edition of the Conecta+ project, promoting a moment of reflection and dialogue about mental health in the university environment. With the theme "Mental Health at the University: How to Take Care of Your Mind Amidst Academic Pressures," the lecture was given by Lisanea Vendramini and brought together students, professors, and staff in the Auditorium of Block D.

During the meeting, topics such as anxiety, academic pressure, self-care, emotional balance, and practical strategies for dealing with the challenges of university life were discussed. The activity also provided a space for listening, support, and the exchange of experiences among participants, strengthening the debate on mental health within higher education.

This action is part of the Career and Retention Program (Conecta+) of the Psychopedagogical Support Center, an institutional initiative of UNIALFA aimed at welcoming, monitoring, and developing undergraduate students in both on-campus and distance learning programs. The program's main objective is to strengthen students' connection with academic life, promoting continuous support from enrollment to graduation.

Structured around five main pillars, Conecta+ operates in the areas of academic diagnosis and monitoring, student support and integration, academic and psycho-pedagogical support, personal and professional development, as well as communication and relationship building with students.

Among the activities developed by the program are integration weeks, academic skills workshops, mentoring programs, tutoring, leveling courses, training tracks in soft skills, entrepreneurship, employability, and individual and group support sessions.

More than just a one-off event, the lecture reinforces UNIALFA's commitment to a humanized education that considers not only the technical and professional development of students, but also their emotional well-being and academic retention.

The institution thanks the speaker Lisanea Vendramini and all the participants who contributed to this moment of dialogue and collective learning.
