UNIALFA promotes a Literary Bowl event to encourage reading and reflection among students.

On March 17th and 18th, UNIALFA launched another edition of Cumbuca Literária, an initiative aimed at promoting the habit of reading and encouraging reflective dialogue among students.

This activity is developed in partnership between the Library and the Psychopedagogical Support Center (NAP), focusing on academic training and strengthening ties within the institution.

The proposal consists of a shared reading of a work throughout a cycle, followed by in-person meetings in a round-table discussion format, in which participants discuss ideas, exchange experiences, and make connections to everyday situations.

In the first cycle, students work with the book "The Power of Self-Responsibility" by Paulo Vieira, which addresses the relationship between attitudes, choices, and personal and professional results, encouraging the development of leadership, discipline, and clarity of objectives.

The first meeting has already taken place, on the 17th at the Perimetral unit and on the 18th at the Mutirão and T-1 units, covering the discussion of the initial chapters of the work, in a moment of collective exchange and critical reflection.

In addition to academic and personal development, active participants receive 8 complementary hours at the end of each cycle. Those who fully participate in the activities throughout the cycles will also be entitled to a special certificate and participation in a literary book raffle.

This initiative reinforces UNIALFA's commitment to an education that goes beyond technical content, encouraging critical thinking, intellectual autonomy, and the holistic development of students.
