UNIALFA promotes social action and offers free services to the community in the Progresso Sector

Students from UNIALFA's technical and undergraduate programs participated in a major social event this Saturday, October 11, at the Community Work Center (CTC) – Casa de Deus, located in the Progresso neighborhood of Goiânia. The event was part of the 17th edition of the Ação Ser Social project, which aims to provide free services and promote the well-being of the local population.

During the event, the community received nursing, aesthetics, physiotherapy, nutrition, pedagogy and legal services through the Legal Practice Center (NPJ), with services such as blood pressure checks, health guidance, relaxing massages, hair brushing and washing, as well as free legal support.

The event involved students from the Nursing, Aesthetics and Cosmetics, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Physical Education, Pharmacy, Business, Pedagogy, and Law programs, supervised by professors and coordinators. Participants experienced hands-on learning and community exchange, putting into practice the knowledge acquired in the classroom.

The NPJ maintains regular services at the UNIALFA Perimeter Unit and works in partnership with the Public Defender's Office, expanding the institution's social reach.

With initiatives like this, UNIALFA reaffirms its commitment to transformative education, which combines theory, empathy, and purpose, developing professionals who make a difference inside and outside the classroom.
