UNIALFA participates in an event on fiscal citizenship at CRC-GO.

The Business School represented the institution at a meeting held in partnership with the Federal Revenue Service and the Public Prosecutor's Office of Goiás.

On June 25th, UNIALFA participated in the event “Results of the 2026 Income Tax Allocation and Fiscal Citizenship,” held at the headquarters of the Regional Accounting Council of Goiás (CRC-GO) in Goiânia. The meeting brought together accounting professionals, representatives of public institutions, partner entities, and higher education institutions to discuss tax education, fiscal citizenship, and income tax allocation.

The institution was represented by the head coordinator of the Business School, Professor Nívea dos Reis Bernardes, and by professor and accountant Antônio Ferreira Castilho. This participation reinforces UNIALFA's commitment to issues related to the practical training of students, social responsibility, and community service.

Promoted by CRC-GO, in partnership with the Federal Revenue Service and the Public Prosecutor's Office of the State of Goiás (MPGO), the event presented the results of the 2026 Individual Income Tax (IRPF) allocation campaign. The program also included discussions on tax compliance, fiscal education, and incentives for allocating resources to municipal funds.

Among the topics discussed were the presentation of the results of income tax collection and allocation in Goiás, the signing of a Technical Cooperation Agreement between the MPGO (Public Prosecutor's Office of Goiás) and the CRC-GO (Regional Accounting Council of Goiás), and lectures on tax compliance, including the Sintonia Program. The meeting also recognized accounting professionals who volunteered in fiscal citizenship initiatives.

For UNIALFA, participation in the event is directly related to the work developed by NAF — the Tax Support Center, a project of the Federal Revenue Service carried out in partnership with higher education institutions. At the institution, the initiative is linked to the Business School and offers free guidance to the population, especially low-income individuals and micro-entrepreneurs, with services provided by students under the supervision of professors.

In addition to providing a service to the community, the NAF (Tax Assistance Center) brings academics closer to real-world situations in the profession. This experience contributes to a more practical training and broadens students' understanding of the social role of the accounting, fiscal, and tax areas.

By participating in the event, UNIALFA strengthens institutional partnerships and reinforces the importance of an education connected to the realities of society, uniting teaching, outreach, and social responsibility.
