On Saturday, September 5th, UNIALFA held the first meeting of its preparatory course for the Federal Accounting Council (CFC) Proficiency Exam. The initiative is aimed at students of the institution's Accounting Sciences program and seeks to support their preparation for one of the important stages in the professional careers of future accountants.
Promoted by the UNIALFA Business School, the preparatory course offers review sessions, in-depth content exploration, and problem-solving exercises related to the topics required for the exam. The goal is to strengthen the knowledge developed throughout the undergraduate program and help students approach the exam with greater confidence.
Preparation for professional life
The program will continue on September 12th and 19th. Throughout the three sessions, students will participate in reviews, solving past exam questions and taking mock exams, focusing on developing strategies for taking the exam.
Passing the Proficiency Exam is one of the requirements for obtaining professional registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC), an indispensable step for practicing the accounting profession as an accountant. According to the CFC (Federal Accounting Council), the exam can be taken by graduates and students in their final year of Accounting Sciences courses.
Student support
According to Professor Nívea dos Reis Bernardes, Head Coordinator of the UNIALFA Business School, the course reinforces the institution's commitment to supporting students even in the stages leading up to their professional careers.
“We believe that academic training should go beyond the classroom. Our commitment is to accompany students at every stage of their journey, offering knowledge, encouragement, and opportunities so that they are prepared for the challenges of the profession. Each meeting is another step towards the approval and professional fulfillment of our students,” he emphasizes.
With this initiative, UNIALFA strengthens the preparation of Accounting students for the Proficiency Exam and reaffirms the importance of academic actions focused on technical training, professional development, and qualified insertion into the job market.
