The increasing complexity of the environment in which organizations operate has driven changes in the education and preparation of professionals who will work in the market, which is increasingly globalized. In this sense, the market has sought professionals capable of performing multiple functions, interconnecting different areas, who are capable of working in a team, with a systemic vision and the ability to perform qualitative/quantitative analyses.

Therefore, the EAD Business Administration course must offer program content that prepares the student to meet the needs of organizations, considering the use of artificial intelligence and the speed of market changes.

Course Objective

  • Promote the study, research, teaching and dissemination of management science as an instrument for creating and achieving objectives, through critical-reflective thinking, logical reasoning and knowledge production.
  • To train professionals qualified to perform strategic functions, qualifying them for insertion in their respective professional sectors and for participation in the development of Brazilian society as a whole.
  • Participate in the human development of academic and civil society, encouraging research, scientific initiation and investigation, disseminating the science of administration and interfering, creating and participating in culture in general.
  • Provide society with an eternal student, developing a professional capable of learning, relearning and teaching constantly, disseminating and aggregating information and knowledge in a cyclical manner and using scientific methodological tools, as seen in an academic environment.

 

Specific objectives 

  • Provide necessary knowledge of administrative, organizational and management theories, on government actions and policies, governmental, public and non-governmental entities.
  • Enable students to understand the economic, social, political and administrative context in which the contemporary State operates.
  • Provide the necessary knowledge about organizations, administration, functions, activities, processes, systems and administrative and organizational methods, from the most complex institutions to the simplest informal groups, interconnecting these elements through the desirable systemic vision of an administrator.
  • Disseminate knowledge among students about the foundations of the Democratic State, its division of powers, forms of government, peculiarities of the Federation, in addition to the specifications of legal entities under Internal Public Law and entities of indirect administration.
