UNIALFA launches the First International Conference on Technical and Scientific Production

The First International Conference on Technical and Scientific Production of the UNIALFA School of Business, Health and Polytechnic began on Tuesday evening (20). With the theme “The Present and the Future is HUMAN BEING”. The event proposes a space for interdisciplinary dialogue and promotes the exchange of knowledge between students, researchers and professionals in the areas of Business, Health, Agronomy, Polytechnic and Technologies.

The opening ceremony was attended by José Alves Filho, president of the José Alves Group, who emphasized the importance of the internationalization promoted by the event. "The Conference represents a milestone for ALFA EDUCAÇÃO. It is through initiatives like this that we strengthen academic leadership and develop better professionals and human beings," he stated.

The first night featured three lectures. Professor Juliana Romão, from the University of Brasília (UnB), addressed accessibility issues, highlighting the importance of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).

Next, Professor Nagore Osa, from Mondragon Unibertsitatea (Spain), shared her research on the use of human-centered design to increase the safety and acceptance of collaborative robots in industrial environments.

Closing the evening, Professor Diego Garcia, from the University of Cantabria (Spain), spoke about the functioning, care and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in everyday life, highlighting current and future trends.
