UNIALFA announces 8th Teaching, Research and Extension Congress focusing on climate change

CEPE 2025

Water, an essential source of life and one of today's greatest challenges, will be the central theme of UNIALFA's 8th Teaching, Research, and Extension Congress (CEPE 2025). The event, which will take place on October 20, 21, and 22, will bring together the academic community and society to discuss the role of science and education in addressing climate change. 

With the theme "Planet Water: Ocean Culture to Confront Climate Change in My Territory," the conference seeks to stimulate reflection and innovative proposals, bringing together teaching, research, and outreach in pursuit of solutions to global and local environmental issues. 

CEPE 2025 will consist of different activities:

  • XXII Scientific Initiation Meeting (EICA); 
  • IX Didactic Fair; 
  • II Book Launch; 
  • Coca-Cola Essay Prize Contest; 
  • III Cultural Competition. 

The initiative values scientific production, encourages creativity and opens space for new forms of academic and cultural expression. 

Important deadlines

  • Registration and submission of papers: September 26th to October 12th, 2025; 
  • Evaluation of works: 10/13 to 10/15/2025; 
  • Announcement of approved candidates: 10/16/2025; 
  • Full schedule announced: 10/16/2025; 
  • Announcement of presentation rooms: 10/17/2025.
