The last night of 7th Teaching, Research and Extension Congress – CEPE was marked by the award of the TOPCOM, an initiative that aims to encourage and reward scientific productions developed in 2023/1, 2023/2 and 2024/1 by students of Communication courses. The categories included productions of printed materials, podcasts, campaigns, sound productions, photographs, among others, rewarding the best works, recognized for their impact and creativity.
Journalism student Jéssica Sodré was one of the winners of the award for her work, which analyzed the film “O Auto da Compadecida,” released in 2000. According to Jéssica, the award is a recognition of the activities carried out in the classroom, which are often left aside or forgotten. “It is an opportunity to record something and I hope it motivates other students to continue producing,” said the student.
Another highlight of the night was the Live Marketing action developed by the Advertising and Propaganda course. The idea was to provide guests with a complete immersive experience through actions created by the students. They spared no effort and created stands linked to the golden age of Hollywood, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the film Beetlejuice. At all points, visitors were able to try out the products and services promoted by the partners.
