TCCII STUD FARM WITH RIDING THERAPY CENTER

The project to be developed is a stud farm with an equine therapy center, with a social function, in order to provide free treatment to children aged 2 to 12 years old, from the city of Goiânia, in the Northwest Region, Meia Ponte Region, Mendanha Region and inland areas close to the northwest region. The proposal aims at therapeutic treatment with qualified professionals, selected animals and an appropriate space for their physical and mental development and also social inclusion, based on their improvement and development perspective. According to the National Association of Equotherapy (ANDE BRASIL), when talking about the INDICATIONS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS IN EQUINE THERAPY (2017), it notes that equine therapy is a therapeutic method that deals with horses applying fundamentals from the areas of education, health and the biopsychosocial development of people with special needs. The theme will be addressed and analyzed through a case study, to understand the need for the development of the stud farm, specialized in Mangalarga Machador horses. In addition, a technical visit will be made to ANDE to understand the criteria and needs of an equine therapy center, study of laws and regulations, in order to prepare a project in a legislatively correct and accessible way for all, reading of books and booklets, academic works and articles to increase the knowledge and expertise necessary to prepare a project that adapts to the needs of its users and visitors.
