Psychology project strengthens social skills in student training.

The activity focused on communication, listening, conflict management, and interpersonal relationships in the students' education.

The Psychology course at UNIALFA has completed another class of the extension project in Social Skills Training, an initiative aimed at developing important skills for the academic training and future professional performance of students.

Throughout the meetings, the students participated in practical activities, group dynamics, and opportunities to exchange experiences. The program focused on skills such as assertive communication, active listening, conflict management, and strengthening interpersonal relationships—topics directly linked to the daily practice of Psychology and caring for others.

The experience allowed participants to reflect on how they communicate, listen, welcome, and build relationships. In a profession marked by human interaction, developing these skills is fundamental for a more ethical, sensitive, and prepared performance in different contexts.

The project was led by academics Anna Paula Ribeiro and Viviane Sabino, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Maria Virgínia. The students' participation in conducting the activity also reinforced academic leadership and the importance of university extension as a space for practical learning.

More than just concluding a class, the project marked a stage of collective growth. Each meeting allowed participants to learn, share experiences, and develop skills that contribute not only to professional training but also to personal and social relationships.

With this initiative, the Psychology course at UNIALFA strengthens its commitment to practical, ethical, and humanized training, bringing students closer to experiences that broaden their perspective on care, listening, and human relationships.
