
Professor Dr. Marina Faraco, lecturer and adjunct coordinator of the Master's Program in Law at UNIALFA, was honored with the title of Citizen of Goiás, granted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goiás (ALEGO-GO).
The honor recognizes the professor's academic and scientific contribution to the development of legal education and research in the state. The proposal was presented by state representative Virmondes Cruvinel and approved by the Legislative Assembly.
Originally from São Paulo, Marina Faraco has been a faculty member of the Postgraduate Program in Economic Constitutional Law at UNIALFA since 2021, where she has also served as deputy coordinator since 2022.
Throughout her time in the program, the professor has contributed to the training of researchers and legal professionals, supervising dissertations and participating in academic panels focused on topics relevant to the economic and institutional development of the State of Goiás.
The work carried out by the professor also involves research on topics such as economic constitutional law, public policies, taxation, consumer law, and energy transition, contributing to the production of knowledge applied to the legal and social reality of Goiás.
This recognition reinforces the relevance of UNIALFA's work in training legal professionals and researchers, and highlights the institution's role in strengthening legal research and postgraduate education in the state.
