Last night (07/09/2024), in the Trajano Guimarães plenary, during the Special Session in Honor of Highlights in Education, Professor Kelly Moura O. Lisita, from the UNIALFA Law School, was awarded the Diploma of Honor to Merit by the Goiânia City Council at the invitation of Councilor Welington Bessa, who was one of her students. 

The Diploma of Merit is a well-deserved recognition for hard work and significant contribution to education and academic development in the region.  

In her statement, the professor said: “It is with great honor that I receive the Education Highlights Award. I am very grateful to professors André Tokarski and Karla Vaz for the opportunity to teach at UNIALFA Law School and for trusting in my work. To my students, all my affection! Teaching is a priesthood, which I exercise with great love and dedication!” 

Professor Thiago Cardoso from UNIALFA Law School was also honored. This is the second time he has received the diploma, but he was unable to attend. He said: “Since I live in Porto Alegre (RS), I was unable to attend yesterday. However, it is still an honor to be honored once again. In 2018, when I received the first honor, I felt an intense desire to share my knowledge. Today, in 2024, the feeling remains the same. How wonderful! I am very proud to be a lawyer, and a professor at that… Wow! I am very fulfilled in my profession and I hope this feeling lasts for a long time. Thank you!” 

The honor recognizes not only their academic competence, but also their commitment and dedication to teaching and training professionals in the field of Law. Throughout their careers, the professors have distinguished themselves not only for their legal knowledge, but also for the positive impact they have generated in the academic community.
