Professor Leonardo Gonçalves Hayne, from the Psychology course at UNIALFA, participated in the Master's degree graduation ceremony at Must University, held in Deerfield Beach, Florida, United States, between June 8th and 10th. On that occasion, the professor obtained a Master's degree in Emerging Technologies in Education.
In addition to the ceremony, the program included lectures and discussions on technological innovation, artificial intelligence applied to education, and the development of behavioral skills in the face of current transformations. These themes directly address the challenges faced by educational institutions, teachers, and students in a context marked by the advancement of digital technologies.
The dissertation defended by the professor was titled "Artificial intelligence, neurocognition, and applications in higher education." The research analyzed how artificial intelligence resources and contributions from cognitive neuroscience can be applied to higher education, with the goal of enhancing learning processes.
The study also makes relevant contributions to training and practice in Psychology. By relating technology, cognition, and education, the research points to possibilities for personalizing learning, supporting assessment and intervention processes, and improving decision-making in educational contexts.
However, this approach also considers fundamental aspects for the responsible use of these tools, such as ethics, privacy, the limits of professional practice, and care in the application of technologies in educational processes.
