At the end of the course, the student/professional will be prepared to implement new management practices, integration of resources and technologies to produce results; greater understanding of the bases of administration and business management, especially in pharmaceutical retail; better people management skills; as well as identification and organization of actions and services to promote health and, at the same time, sustainability and profitability of pharmacies and drugstores.

 

The Course of MBA in Strategic Management and Services in Pharmacies and Drugstores It is offered in a multidisciplinary manner and with emphasis on professionals who work in the health area in the dispensing of pharmaceutical products, as well as with sales, representation and interpersonal relations; pharmaceutical professionals; managers; clerks and other employees in the pharmaceutical retail sector.

Objectives

The MBA course in Strategic Management and Services in Pharmacies and Drugstores aims to train professionals in various areas of knowledge, providing ongoing training in order to enable the development of skills for employees in pharmacies and drugstores, also known as pharmaceutical retail, in the following aspects:

  • Manage pharmacies and drugstores (pharmaceutical retail) and integrate resources to produce results;
  • Know and understand the basics of administration and management of pharmaceutical establishments;
  • Select, train and manage people, aiming at the implementation and optimization of projects, processes and action plans;
  • Innovate in solving technological problems, including the introduction or improvement of processes, products, strategies or services, having a positive impact on the individual and collective health of the community where the pharmacy/drugstore is located;
  • Research, develop, innovate, monitor, manage and ensure the quality of process technologies and services applied to pharmacies and drugstores;
  • Optimize the health care process, through pharmaceutical services offered to the individual, family and community in the pharmacy;
  • Carry out activities to promote, protect and restore health, in addition to preventing diseases.
