What will I be able to do after the course?

At the end of the course, the student/professional will be prepared to develop clinical experience and implement new practices related to the area of training in Advanced Aesthetic Health, obtained through scientific knowledge and the skills developed and necessary for professional practice.

 

The skills and competencies of the Advanced Aesthetic Health specialization course will be further enhanced through the approach to physiology, skin anatomy and noble structures; semiology; regulatory affairs, biosafety; waste management; management of aesthetic clinics and practices.

Who is this course for?

The Specialization in Advanced Aesthetic Health is offered in a multidisciplinary manner, aimed at professionals who work or wish to work in advanced aesthetic health; with advanced aesthetic health as a fundamental tool; and is aimed at Biologists; Biomedical Scientists; Nurses; Pharmacists; Physiotherapists, Dentists and Beauticians. In all cases, it is necessary to hold a Higher Education Diploma obtained from a national institution recognized by the Ministry of Education.

 

According to resolution no. 197 of February 21, 2011 and resolution no. 573 of May 22, 2013, Aesthetic Health has become a new area of qualification for biomedical and pharmaceutical professionals, respectively. It is known that the aesthetics market is promising and comprehensive and therefore throughout Brazil there is a growing demand for Aestheticians, Biomedical Scientists, Pharmacists, Dentists, Nurses, Biologists, Physiotherapists and Physicians for quality Postgraduate Courses in this area.

Degrees and certifications

Upon completion of the course, the student will receive the title of Specialist in Advanced Aesthetic Health.

Materials and technologies for advanced aesthetic health practices already included in the course fee

  • 01 Oxford lab coat embroidered on the left pocket with the professional's name preceded by Dr. or Dr. and name of free choice. Contains embroidery on the right sleeve with the name and coat of arms of UNIALFA.
  • 01 supervised practical class on Fresh Frozen cadavers in Brasília with transportation included.
  • 01 Thermal blanket for Cryolipolysis.
  • 10 total shots with ULTRAFORMER MPT and ULTRAFORMER III consumables. Additional shots can be purchased by the student on the day of the practical activity.
  • Localized fat, White stretch marks, PEIM-Glucose, Skinbooster, Cellulite Mix, Melasma, Botulinum Toxin, RENNOVA Fit Filler, Hyaluronidase.
  • Other general purpose consumables such as cotton, gloves, adhesive tapes, gauzes, etc.

All materials and equipment described here will be provided by UNIALFA and its partners solely and exclusively for the learning purposes of the course students.

The Advanced Aesthetic Health Specialization course aims to:

  • Enable professionals to practice Aesthetic Health
  • Highlight the importance of interdisciplinarity in the work in Aesthetic Health
  • Deepen understanding of various aesthetic and restorative dysfunctions;
  • Identify the various manifestations and treatment strategies in patients with the aim of achieving gains in self-esteem and social inclusion;
  • Qualify and improve professionals to work in Cosmetology and Advanced Aesthetic Health, developing skills;
  • Evaluate, classify, select products appropriate for aesthetic health therapies
  • Develop specific practices in the areas of aesthetic health, cosmetology and ozone therapy.

The professional will acquire all the skills to work in the job market in the facial, body and hair aesthetics segment, enabling him to assertively recognize the pharmacological, cosmetic, electrotherapeutic and manual resources to be used in aesthetic procedures, in addition to understanding the market and entrepreneurial management in the aesthetics business.
