The objective of this course is to provide professionals who have already graduated with skills and abilities in a transdisciplinary manner involving knowledge related to neuroscience, psychology and pedagogy. More specifically, professionals will be trained in the teaching-learning process from a socio-interactionist perspective, providing participants with the opportunity to reflect on their mastery of neuropsychopedagogy, in order to provide good service to the students they will accompany on their learning journey.

What you will learn

  • Apply Neuroscience concepts to Education, understanding that the latter is a process that occurs in different social spaces and through different mediators.
  • Understand that the constructs of Neuroscience applied to Education need to interface with Pedagogy and Cognitive Psychology in order to outline actions that are effective, as they will be based on the learning of concepts, skills and behaviors as well as the way to propose the teaching of these issues.
  • Understand, identify and stimulate the functioning of the entire nervous system based on the two previous skills, focusing on executive functions.
  • Use the transdisciplinary methodology to define the assessment and intervention planning, dialoguing with the disciplines, but always aiming for a vision beyond what is already established.
  • Reintegrate the individuals it serves according to their progress and particular characteristics in personal, social and educational aspects.
