Optional: potential international Black Belt certification if the student passes the international exam administered by the Six Sigma Institute of the United States of America.
After completing the course, students and professionals will be able to conduct multifunctional projects using the Lean Six Sigma – DMAIC methodology, and combined with advanced Process Engineering techniques, they will be able to solve complex problems by eliminating losses, eliminating manufacturing bottlenecks and reducing process variability in 4.0 operations. As part of their professional training, once the practical modules have been completed, students will be able to take an international assessment, which, if approved, will also grant them international certification recognition as a BLACK BELT by the Six Sigma Institute of the United States.
The Specialization course in Lean Six Sigma and Process Engineering is offered in a multidisciplinary manner and is aimed at professionals working in the areas of Engineering, Technology, Administration, Production Managers, Maintenance, Industrial Processes and Operational Excellence, interested in the knowledge inherent to Lean Six Sigma who are seeking a Black Belt certification recognized nationally and internationally to boost their career.
The Lean Six Sigma and Process Engineering Specialization Course aims to train higher-level professionals through the practical application of the main tools that promote loss mapping, process improvement initiatives, elimination of manufacturing bottlenecks, increased operational productivity and reduction of operational costs. The subjects offered in the curriculum are aimed at learning advanced production management and operational excellence tools and techniques geared towards 4.0 operations, aiming at optimizing the use of manufacturing resources, offering technical and behavioral subsidies for the specialization of professionals who work or wish to work in the areas of Process Engineering aiming at the safety and effectiveness of systems, with the integration of technological foundations and their applications to optimize results through Lean Six Sigma and other related tools.
