At the end of the course, the student/professional will be prepared to develop clinical experience and implement new practices related to the area of training in Specialization and Qualification in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Prescription, Management in Pharmacies and Pharmaceutical Consulting, through scientific knowledge and skills developed for professional performance.

The skills and competencies of the Specialization and Qualification course in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Prescription, Pharmacy Management and Pharmaceutical Office will be further improved through the approach in semiology; regulatory affairs, biosafety; pharmacy and pharmaceutical office management.

Target audience

Specialization and Qualification in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Prescription, Management in Pharmacies and Pharmaceutical Office aimed at Pharmacists who work or wish to work in clinical pharmacy; carry out pharmaceutical prescriptions, and develop management techniques in pharmacies and pharmaceutical offices.

Objectives

The Specialization and Qualification course in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Prescription, Pharmacy Management and Pharmaceutical Consulting has the following objectives:

  • Enable pharmacists to assume responsibilities and practice clinical services;
  • Improve the practice of pharmaceutical prescriptions as a tool for clinical practice;
  • Demonstrate management variables in pharmacies and pharmaceutical offices;
  • Present the legislation affecting the clinical area, pharmaceutical prescriptions and pharmacies and pharmaceutical offices;
  • Discuss the ethical aspects that are transversal to clinical practice, pharmaceutical prescriptions and pharmaceutical consulting.

What will you learn?

This comprehensive course is designed to equip pharmacists for clinical practice and the effective operation of a pharmacy practice. Participants acquire essential skills, including the delivery of clinical services and their traceability, knowledge of applied human physiology, clinical pharmacology and clinical pharmacokinetics. In addition, the course emphasizes the importance of interpersonal communication, pharmaceutical history taking and patient safety, covering everything from responsible prescribing of medications for minor disorders to pharmaceutical care for a variety of conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and the use of dietary supplements. 

Issues related to feasibility, management of pharmaceutical products and services, as well as marketing strategies and appropriate layout for pharmacies and pharmaceutical practices are also addressed, preparing professionals to perform with excellence in this clinical and commercial environment. This course offers comprehensive and practical training for pharmaceutical professionals seeking advanced knowledge and skills.
