Partnership between UNIALFA and the Federal Revenue Service promotes free assistance with income tax returns.

Students from the Accounting Sciences course at UNIALFA participated, on May 22nd, in an action of the Declare Fácil program, held at the headquarters of the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service in Goiânia. The initiative offered free guidance to the public on filling out and submitting the Individual Income Tax Return, promoting fiscal citizenship and social inclusion.

During the event, 32 services were provided to the community, including 12 in-person consultations and 20 completed income tax returns. The services were provided by students under the supervision of UNIALFA professors, with the support of auditors and analysts from the Federal Revenue Service and professionals from the Regional Accounting Council of Goiás (CRC-GO).

This activity is part of the national Declare Fácil program, developed in partnership with the NAF Network (Tax Support Center), Regional Accounting Councils, and higher education institutions. The proposal combines academic training and social responsibility, allowing students to put the knowledge acquired in the classroom into practice while contributing to serving the population.

Representing UNIALFA, the following participated in the event: the director of the School of Business, Health, Polytechnic and Secondary Education, Prof. PhD. José Eduardo de Miranda; the head coordinator of the School of Business, Prof.ª Msc. Nívea dos Reis Bernardes; the assistant coordinator of the School of Business, Prof. Me. Gean Pablo Azara Souza; as well as professors Antônio Ferreira Castilho, João Ribeiro de Freitas, Lia Ramos Lustosa Molina and Nathalia Cristina Santos Elias.
