On Tuesday, August 11th, UNIALFA held OPEN ALFA 2026/2, a special program to welcome students at the beginning of the new academic semester. The event took place simultaneously at the Perimetral, T-1, and Mutirão campuses, bringing together freshmen and returning students for moments of integration, reception, and interaction.
Designed to mark the return to classes in a welcoming way, the program included activities in the morning and evening shifts. During breaks, students participated in activities with music, food distribution, and interaction with the institution's staff, in an environment prepared to celebrate the return to university routine.
The welcoming event included both freshmen and returning students.
The OPEN ALFA event aimed to welcome new students and, at the same time, welcome returning students for another semester of academic activities. The initiative helped to bring students closer to the institution, strengthen bonds, and make the start of the academic year more relaxed and participatory.
At the units, the program included the presence of promoters, distribution of popcorn and popsicles, as well as musical attractions. At the Perimetral Unit, the entertainment featured a performance by Felipe Santos. At the Mutirão Unit, the program featured Bianca Lima. And at the T-1 Unit, the reception was led with the participation of DJ Grego.
The coverage and mobilization also involved the institution's student ambassadors, who monitored the activity at the campuses and helped to record the key moments of the welcoming event.
Evening programming marked the end of the day.
During the evening, OPEN ALFA continued welcoming students, maintaining its mission of fostering integration between students, academic and administrative staff. The program included music, socializing, and welcoming activities for students who began the semester in the evening shift.
One of the highlights of the evening was the performance by the orchestra of the Ayrton Senna Military College, which marked the program with a special participation and reinforced the celebratory atmosphere of the start of the semester.
More than just a welcoming event, OPEN ALFA aimed to create a positive back-to-school experience. By bringing together welcoming activities across its three campuses, UNIALFA reinforced the importance of welcoming students from day one, creating a closer, more integrated environment conducive to academic development.
Beginning of a new academic cycle
With the OPEN ALFA 2026/2 event, UNIALFA kicked off another academic semester, reaffirming its commitment to academic training and building a welcoming university experience.
For both freshmen and returning students, the return to classes represents the beginning of a new stage of learning, interaction, and development. By promoting an integrated welcome at the Perimetral, T-1, and Mutirão campuses, the institution strengthens its bond with its students and values the presence of each student in the academic community.
