THE Legal Practice Center (NPJ) of the Alves Faria University Center – UNIALFA provides legal assistance to low-income populations. All services are provided by students under the supervision and guidance of professors trained in the area.
Thus, the center enables the Law course student body to legal practice, developing professional activities such as customer service, petitioning and hearings. Located in the Perimetral Unit, the NPJ has rooms for hearings, petitioning and individualized service, as well as a reception, registry office and lawyers' room.
Objective
The Legal Practice Center was created to provide opportunities for professional contact of UNIALFA Law students. The legal services provided on site promote alignment between theory and practice, as well as being a way of contributing to the local community.
Main Activities
- Legal guidance;
- Compensation action (consumer);
- Judicial divorce;
- Custody regulation;
- Alimony;
- Correction of civil registration;
- Paternity investigation;
- Dissolution of stable union.
