THE Núcleo de Apoio à Educação Especial – NAEE from the Alves Faria University Center – UNIALFA, é um departamento que integra a Gerência da Asseguração da Qualidade de Ensino e Aprendizagem, responsável tem como finalidade oferecer suporte pedagógico e psicopedagógico aos estudantes com necessidades educacionais específicas com intuito de minimizar as barreiras presentes no processo de ensino aprendizagem e garantir não somente o acesso, mas também a permanência and the conclusão do curso pelos estudantes atendidos por este núcleo.
Objectives
As an objective, the core wants to promote accessibility atitudinal, arquitetônica, comunicacional, instrumental, metodológica e programática aos alunos.
Além disso, o NAEE também auxilia professores e funcionários administrativos no desenvolvimento das atividades para ensure inclusion in all educational contexts. Main activities
- Structuring of customer service to students with disabilities;
- Guidance and training of teachers, students and staff so that they can teach, study and serve students with disabilities;
- Training, guidance and instrumentalization for teachers in adequacy of methodologies and pedagogical resources specific for use with students with disabilities;
- Orientação, descrição e adaptação de teaching-pedagogical material for students of the institution;
- Orientation and mobility to new students to promote their adaptation to the institution's physical space and support to the locations when necessary;
- Assistance in administering tests;
- Welcoming students freshmen and seniors at the beginning of each semester.
