Presentation

THE Professional Master's Degree in Administration (MPA) from the Alves Faria University Center (UNIALFA) is it possible main objective to enable solid training of the master's student in management of public organizations and private companies, with an integrated vision of institutions. He seeks to empower the student to produce research and analysis that contribute to the generation of results in an innovative way and sustainable, considering the consequences of the activities managerial tools for organizations, as well as for society.

To meet these challenges, the The UNIALFA MPA program focuses on Focus on Strategic Management, which unfolds in three lines basic research:

Integrated Management of Markets;
Integrated Management of Finances;
Cooperative Management, Associations and Agribusiness.

These lines incorporate the theories and methods of practice management, considering that the good organizational performance depends on formulations of strategies whose execution occurs integrated form among the various organizational areas.

Research Lines

Integrated Market Management

The Integrated Market Management research line encompasses the identification, analysis, interpretation, and intersection of variables strategic and marketing strategies in the context of public institutions and private. It encompasses studies related to interorganizational networks; management by indicators; project and process management; models of governance; adding and appropriating value to commodities; management innovation; brand management; consumer behavior; Marketing research; management in global markets; intelligence competitive; relationship marketing in the public and private sectors; organizational behavior; economic, social and sustainability environmental; strategies applied to public administration; models of Innovation in the public sector; co-creation and innovation capabilities in the sector. public; state-business relations.

Integrated Finance Management

The Integrated Financial Management research line promotes the advancement of scientific knowledge, so that decision-makers can generate and evaluate the information necessary for sound decision-making, thus favoring the achievement of desired results in public and private institutions. It addresses topics related to financial risk management; corporate finance; economics and markets; sustainable finance; quantitative methods applied to competitive strategies; economic internationalization; financial markets; investment analysis; credit cooperatives; financial institutions and international organizations; finance and artificial intelligence; public policies to promote microenterprises; and public finance.

Management of Cooperatives, Associations and Agribusiness

The research line on Management of Cooperatives, Associations, and Agribusiness encompasses structural, managerial, and strategic elements within the cooperative context, integrated with the organizational complexities inherent to the cooperative model; it addresses the influences of cooperatives on society and the local economy; and emphasizes the management of cooperatives and their economic and financial development. In parallel, this research line focuses on non-profit organizations of public and social interest, in the associative form, OSCIPs, OSs, NGOs, and other third-sector organizations. Furthermore, it aims to study agricultural, livestock, logistics, agro-industrial organizations and other actors that integrate the agribusiness production chains, with an emphasis on managerial and strategic elements linked to the competitiveness, development, and economic results of rural organizations.

It is part of the MOC – Microeconomics of Competitiveness program, founded by Professor Michael Porter, which takes place annually at leading institutions such as Harvard University (Massachusetts) and Stanford University (California); it brings together more than 150 universities worldwide;
It maintains internationalization agreements with important institutions in countries such as Spain, the USA, Colombia, and Argentina;
It conducts the Field Insight Program, an exclusive program of the Professional Master's in Administration at UNIALFA, which provides practical experience through technical visits to the most important organizations in the country. During these visits, students have direct access to processes, methodologies, and leadership;
It has a highly qualified faculty, mostly with doctorates from UnB or USP and significant professional experience;

Field Insight Program

The students of Professional Master's Degree in Administration, Through the Field Insight Program, they have the opportunity to conduct on-site visits to important public and private organizations.

MOC – Microeconomics of Competitiveness

The program MOC Network – Microeconomics of Competitiveness, in partnership with UNIALFA, aims to conduct studies on the entrepreneurial and competitive capabilities of business clusters in the Central-West region, aiming to develop academic research and teaching cases. The MOC Network brings together over 100 affiliated national and international universities, which conduct research on local businesses, grouped into clusters or local production arrangements, using an analytical methodology that considers not only traditional factors of production, but also the level of domestic demand, the presence of related and supporting sectors (government, universities, research institutes), and the competitive dynamics of existing companies.

Graduated in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (2008), postgraduate in Labor Law (2009) and specialist in Civil Law and Consumer Law (2010) from EPD. He has extensive experience in business administration, with emphasis on retail and emphasis on Marketing, Service Marketing and Strategic Planning. He is a professor in undergraduate courses (Administration, International Relations and Social Communication) at FECAP, in the MBA Marketing at FIA and in the Professional Master's in Administration at Centro Universitário ALFA (GO). Guest professor of the Strategy and Marketing for Emerging Countries course, teaching classes in English to foreign students. He works as a speaker and consultant in the area of strategy, marketing and service management, especially for smaller companies. He was the coordinator of the Administration and Accounting Sciences course at FADISP College, preparing the PPC for the courses and accompanying on-site visits (INEP) for the re-accreditation of the courses. Research Group on Business, Economic and Market Strategies (GEEEM)

Description

The group investigates organizational, economic and market strategies at different levels of analysis, providing institutional, corporate, organizational and regional development. The group's research has applications in public, private and third sector management, including research related to competitive strategies; inter-organizational networks; clusters; supply chains; marketing strategies; regional development; strategies applied to agribusiness and strategies applied to public administration. The objective is to conduct, promote and support studies and research on the various types of organizational, economic and market strategies in which organizations are involved in the search for maximizing organizational performance.

Its composition includes professors and students from the MPA, and undergraduate students from the Alves Faria University Center.

GEEM Research Lines

Strategies and Organizations:

The “Strategies and Organizations” line focuses on strategic management and its derivatives. It seeks discussions and the development of research related to analyses of organizational performance predictors, performance measurement, value appropriation, sustainable competitive advantage, stakeholder analysis, complexly imitable resources, corporate strategy and governance, market imperfection, and dynamic capabilities.

Market Strategy:

The “Market Strategy” line emphasizes research on marketing efforts as precursors to organizational performance. Thus, the focus is on research involving consumer behavior, econometrics applied to market studies, culture and society, creation and co-creation of value, consumption and sustainability, and adding value to commodities.

Business networks:

The “Business Networks” line focuses on research into interorganizational relationship arrangements, involving managerial, economic and sociological perspectives. Emphasis is placed on studies on inter-firm cooperation, network governance, coopetition, network structures; business ecosystems, innovation ecosystems, clusters, supply chains, Social Capital Theory, Actor-Network Theory, and social network analysis methods.

THE Professional Master's Degree in Administration The Alves Faria University Center – UNIALFA has Strategic Management as its area of concentration, with three lines of research: Integrated Market Management; Integrated Finance Management. They incorporate theories and methods of management practice, considering strategy formulations whose execution occurs in an integrated manner between the different organizational areas.

Integrated Market Management

The Integrated Market Management research line encompasses the identification, analysis, interpretation, and intersection of strategic and market variables in the contexts of public and private institutions. It includes studies related to interorganizational networks; management by indicators; project and process management; governance models; value aggregation and appropriation of commodities; innovation management; brand management; consumer behavior; marketing research; management in global markets; competitive intelligence; relationship marketing in the public and private sectors; organizational behavior; economic, social, and environmental sustainability; strategies applied to public administration; innovation models in the public sector; co-creation and innovation capabilities in the public sector; and state-business relations.

Integrated Finance Management

The Integrated Financial Management research line promotes the advancement of scientific knowledge so that decision-makers can generate and evaluate the information needed to make sound decisions and thus favor the achievement of desired results in public and private institutions. It addresses topics related to financial risk management; corporate finance; economics and market; sustainable finance; quantitative methods applied to competitive strategies; economic internationalization; financial market; investment analysis; credit cooperatives; financial institutions and international organizations; finance and artificial intelligence; public policies to promote microenterprises; public finance.

The research line of Management of Cooperatives, Associations and Agribusiness encompasses structural, managerial and strategic elements in the cooperative context, integrated with the organizational complexities inherent to the cooperative model;
