Professor José Eduardo de Miranda, director of the School of Business, Health, Polytechnic and Secondary Education at UNIALFA, received the Honorary Title of Citizen of Goiás on June 19th, in a ceremony held at the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goiás (ALEGO). The honor was proposed by state deputy Talles Barreto and recognizes his career and contributions to the state.
The honor is granted to individuals who, even though not originally from Goiás, have built a significant relationship with the state and contributed to its development in various fields. In the case of Professor José Eduardo de Miranda, the title also symbolizes the bonds built throughout his professional and personal journey in Goiás.
During the ceremony, the professor spoke about the importance of the moment and the feeling of belonging to the land that welcomed him. In his thank-you message, he also acknowledged the support of the people and institutions that have been part of his journey since his arrival in the state.
“A day that will be forever remembered. After 8 years honoring this State that welcomed me with open arms, I received the Honorary Title of Citizen of Goiás. I need to express my gratitude to the José Alves Group and to our president, José Alves Filho, for the opportunity to lead, with heart, a team that has made a difference. To each one of you, my thanks for the affection and prestige. You are special,” declared Miranda.
