Registration is open for the 43rd Coca-Cola Essay Prize 2026 at UNIALFA.

Registration is open until April 30, 2026, for the 43rd Coca-Cola Bandeirantes Essay Prize, promoted by UNIALFA in partnership with Coca-Cola Bandeirantes.

The initiative, which is already part of the institution's academic calendar, aims to encourage the production of texts and to value the critical and argumentative development of students.

Who can participate?

Students regularly enrolled in undergraduate courses at UNIALFA and FADISP, from the 1st to the penultimate semester, are eligible to apply.

Registration is free and must be done exclusively through the official contest website.

How it works

The test will be held on May 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Participants will be required to produce a persuasive essay of up to 30 lines, based on a topic that will be revealed at the time of the exam.

The use of reference materials will not be permitted during the event.

Evaluation and criteria

The essays will be evaluated by a panel of professors in the field of Languages, considering criteria such as:

• mastery of the standard norm of the Portuguese language;
• coherence and argumentation;
• creativity;
• organization of ideas;
• proposed intervention.

Awards and benefits

The competition includes prizes in two categories:

Per course: the best essay in each course receives 100% of a monthly fee;

General:

• 1st place: 100% of a monthly fee;
• 2nd place: 70%;
• 3rd place: 50%.

In addition, all participants receive 5 hours of complementary activities.

Result

The results will be released on June 3, 2026.
