On August 7th and 8th, UNIALFA held the Family Day UNIALFA – Making Of Graduations, at the Maria Dilda Auditorium, in the Perimetral Unit. The event brought together graduating students, family, friends, and even pets in a moment of preparation, celebration, and anticipation for the graduation ceremony.
Over the course of two days, more than 100 participants visited the venue to pick up their ceremony invitations, receive general instructions, have their questions answered, check for any outstanding documentation, and participate in a photo session wearing graduation gowns. The event was held in partnership with Making Of Formaturas, the company responsible for the photographic documentation.
More than just an organizational step for the ceremony, Family Day was conceived as a welcoming moment for the graduates and the people who were part of their academic journeys. Amidst photos, hugs, and heartfelt memories, participants were able to experience the behind-the-scenes aspects of graduation with greater peace of mind, before the official graduation ceremony.
Records marked the trajectory of the graduates.
During the event, graduates participated in official photo sessions wearing their graduation gowns and were able to bring objects that represent their academic journey, such as books, lab coats, stethoscopes, and other items related to their courses and experiences throughout their undergraduate studies.
The presence of family and friends made the gathering even more meaningful. For many graduates, Family Day represented the opportunity to commemorate, alongside important people, an achievement built over years of study, dedication, and overcoming challenges.
In addition to photographic documentation, the program also helped guide students on the details of the graduation ceremony. The distribution of invitations, verification of any outstanding documents, and the provision of general information allowed the graduates to prepare for the ceremony with greater confidence.

Family Day was attended by graduates from various UNIALFA courses, including Administration, Systems Analysis and Development, Architecture and Urban Planning, Accounting Sciences, Economic Sciences, Social Communication – Journalism, Social Communication – Advertising and Public Relations, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Law, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Production Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aesthetics and Cosmetics, Commercial Management, Human Resources Management, Financial Management, Public Management, Logistics, Marketing, Pedagogy, Psychology, and Information Systems.
The diversity of courses represented reinforced the collective nature of the celebration and highlighted the importance of graduation as one of the most symbolic moments in academic life. For students, graduation marks not only the end of a cycle, but also the beginning of new professional and personal possibilities.
