On Wednesday, April 30, 5th-semester students of the Nutrition course at UNIALFA participated in an action aimed at promoting health, during the event “Bem-Estar em Dia Bandeirantes”, held at the headquarters of Refrescos Bandeirantes Coca-Cola, a company of the José Alves Group.
Students Eduardo Melo Vieira da Paixão Júnior, Jucimaria Maria de Jesus, and Karoline da Silva Daczkowski Sousa were accompanied by Professor Renata Leal Martins, technical supervisor of the institution's health laboratories. They provided nutritional counseling and body composition assessments (adipometry) for the company's employees.
The initiative's main goal was to encourage healthy eating habits and promote quality of life in the corporate environment. Furthermore, the initiative reinforced the importance of practical experience in academic training, providing future nutritionists with practical experience of the profession.
