UNIALFA students carry out extension activities with mothers and children

Last Saturday, May 10, students from the Physical Education, Aesthetics and Cosmetics, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy courses at UNIALFA participated in a practical extension activity at the Community Work Center (CTC) in the Progresso Sector, in celebration of Mother's Day.

The action aimed to promote children's motor development and offer health and well-being care for mothers, integrating the knowledge acquired in the classroom with community outreach practices.

During the program, recreational activities focused on children's motor development, as well as skin cleansing and lymphatic drainage sessions for mothers, were held. The initiative provided practical experience for the students and a special moment of care and support for the participants.

The activities were guided and supervised by Professor Polliana Assis (Physiotherapy), Professor Henrique Marinho (Aesthetics and Cosmetics) and by the Physical Education course coordinator, Professor Fabrício Magalhães, reinforcing UNIALFA's commitment to the comprehensive education of its students and social transformation through education.
