UNIALFA students work as auditors in public works through the Building Together Program

Students from UNIALFA's Architecture and Urban Planning and Civil Engineering programs are participating in the "Building Together" program, sponsored by the Goiás State Infrastructure Secretariat (Seinfra). The initiative aims to bring academia closer to the realities of public works, providing students with practical and educational experience.

The institution joined the program in April, and the selected students are currently in the second phase. After fulfilling all the requirements of the initial phase, they were certified as auditors and began conducting field missions, monitoring and evaluating public works projects in progress throughout the state. Participants' performance will be scored based on the quality of their audits, and the top 20 will receive cash prizes.

Coordinated by professors Paola Monteiro (Architecture and Urban Planning) and Isabella Queiroz (Civil Engineering), with technical guidance from professor Paola Monteiro, the program allows students to apply the knowledge acquired in the classroom in real-life contexts, in addition to developing critical thinking, responsibility, and professional ethics.

The students Rafaela Matias, Gabriel Gaspar, Gustavo Alves, Heverton Fernandes, Kauan Roque, Luan Petherson, Marcio Faustino and Lara Moreira participate in this phase.
