The importance of ENADE for your diploma!

Imagine you're applying for a job or a graduate degree. If your diploma is from a course well evaluated by the MEC, with a grade of 4 or 5 in ENADE, this shows that your training has nationally recognized excellence.

Courses with high performance in ENADE transmit more credibility in the job market and reinforce the students' commitment to quality of education.
Furthermore, without participation in the ENADE, the student becomes irregular and cannot graduate, that is, he cannot receive the diploma until the situation is regularized.

Before ENADE

Participation in the National Student Performance Exam (ENADE) is mandatory and involves two fundamental instruments that determine the student's effective presence in the 2025 edition. Both are considered for exam regularity purposes:

Student Questionnaire

The questionnaire aims to collect information that allows us to profile students and understand the context of their academic background. This data is essential for interpreting test results and supporting the evaluation processes of undergraduate programs and higher education institutions.

Proof

The ENADE test assesses students' performance in relation to:

  • To the contents provided for in the National Curricular Guidelines (DCNs) or in the National Catalog of Higher Technology Courses (CNCST);
  • To the skills of adapting to changes and innovations in knowledge;
  • The skills necessary to understand social, cultural, economic and scientific issues, both in the national and international context.

The structure of the test is divided into two parts:

General Teacher Training: Composed of 27 objective questions, it covers transversal pedagogical content common to all areas of the degree.

Specific Component: Consists of 37 questions, 36 of which are multiple choice and 1 is discursive.

This part is dedicated to the specific knowledge of each area assessed in the exam.

Situation

Regularization of the situation of students who are in an irregular condition in Enade 2024 occurs through different processes, according to their relevance:

  • Exemption from evidence: when the student does not appear at the test application location designated by Inep, provided that the student has met the other requirements for obtaining regularity in Enade;
  • Institutional Responsibility Statement: when the qualified student is not registered within the period specified in the notice, is not informed about his/her registration for Enade, does not have his/her exemption request analyzed by the institution, does not have the correct indication of the in-person support center for students of courses offered in distance learning, does not have his/her test municipality changed as a result of academic mobility, in addition to other situations that fully prevent the student's participation, due to an act or omission of the higher education institution.
  • Inep Act: when, for any reason, the student remains in an irregular situation after the regularization processes have been completed by exemption from the test or declaration of responsibility from the higher education institution.

The regularization of the qualified graduating student, duly registered by the higher education institution, through the exemption from the test, will occur at the initiative of the student or the institution, depending on the reason.
