Course Objective

Train and enable teachers to use strategies, teaching plans, resources and pedagogical environments that allow for deeper reflection on educational processes, respecting and considering the needs of this age group.

Target audience

The course is aimed at professionals in the Education sector, particularly teachers, pedagogical coordinators and directors of public and private schools, as well as other interested parties.

Graduate profile

The profile of a graduate of a Early Childhood Education teacher may vary according to the professional's training and experience. Graduates are expected to have the following characteristics:

  • Knowledge of theories and practices of Early Childhood Education, as well as human development, childhood psychology, language and communication, among other related topics;
  • Ability to plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities appropriate to the cognitive, socio-emotional, motor and linguistic development of children aged zero to six years;
  • Ability to observe and record children's development and performance in order to assess their progress and guide their learning.

Work in places focused on learning, which promote the construction of environments and relationships for the development of physical, cognitive, emotional and moral autonomy of children from zero to five years old. Master's degree in Regional Development from UNIALFA. She is currently the coordinator of High School at Colégio Einstein and a professor of Pedagogy at Centro Universitário Alves Faria.
