The Conecta+ program held another event focused on the personal and emotional development of UNIALFA students on May 20th and 21st. The activity took place at the Perimetral and Bueno T-1 campuses and had the theme "How to observe your emotions by aligning reason and emotion".
The lecture was led by psychologist Daiany Tavares, who discussed the importance of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the balance between reason and emotion when facing the challenges of academic, personal, and professional life.
On the 20th, the meeting was held at the Perimetral unit. On the 21st, the event took place at the Bueno T-1 unit, expanding the initiative's reach among the institution's students.
During the conversation, students were invited to reflect on how they recognize, interpret, and deal with their emotions in everyday life. The speaker also highlighted strategies for developing a more conscious relationship with one's own feelings, contributing to more balanced decisions and a healthier academic routine.
The activity provided a space for listening, support, and sharing experiences, reinforcing the importance of addressing emotional health as an essential part of university education.
This action is part of Conecta+, UNIALFA's institutional program focused on welcoming, retaining, and developing students through initiatives that combine academic support, emotional care, career guidance, and strengthening the connection with university life.
With this lecture, UNIALFA reinforces its commitment to a comprehensive education that values not only academic performance, but also the well-being and human development of its students.
