Graduation Ceremony

Edit Content

Presentation

THE Graduation Ceremony symbolizes the peak in the development of a graduate, as it is through it that the institution presents him to society as a professional academically qualified to carry out his activity.

For this reason, out of respect for the efforts made by students and their families, appropriate formality must be observed, compatible with the importance of the moment for the lives of those involved.

In this sense, the UNIALFA – Alves Faria University Center, in compliance with the institutions supported by the National Committee for Public Ceremony – CNCP and the General Order of Proceedings (Decree 70,274 of 06/09/1972), resolve to issue these Internal Regulations, which will regulate the protocol of all the Institution's Degree Conferral ceremonies.

We have two types of Graduation Ceremony:

Traditional Degree Conferral: This is a graduation ceremony that takes place in a public place, in the presence of the Superintendent Director, Directors, Professors, the Speaker, Honorees, Speaker and other students and their guests. The date is set by the University Center and is published in the academic calendar. It brings together all morning and evening courses (joint) and is held in the Maria Dilda Auditorium, and is free of charge to the student. Graduates and members of the panel wear gowns provided by the institution.

Extraordinary Graduation Ceremony: It is carried out on an extraordinary basis when the graduate needs (in an exceptional manner) to graduate outside of the official dates of the academic calendar, in accordance with the rules established in Resolution 002/2017 of March 14, 2017.

All of the above ceremonies are official acts and recorded in minutes. UNIALFA wishes that the graduation ceremony will remain in the memory of all graduates as the hallmark of an indisputable victory.
