Course Objective

Provide skills, competencies and knowledge so that the professional can work on projects by assessing risks. To do so, it takes into account Information Security controls and the fundamentals of data protection.

Target audience

Professionals in information and communication technology, engineering and related fields who are interested in specializing in the management and implementation of Cybersecurity in corporate environments. It is aimed at both recent graduates and professionals working in the job market, at the beginning or in the consolidation phase of their careers, when the course will provide an update of knowledge or acquisition of new skills and competencies within their area of activity.

Graduate profile

The course, through the academic model, seeks for the graduate to be a professional who, in accordance with legal requirements, presents values, skills and abilities such as:

  • Be able to identify vulnerabilities and present solutions to protect systems, environments and devices;
  • Manage computing environments and define technological architecture with a view to cybersecurity;
  • Define technologies for the protection of critical environments;
  • Execute information security procedures, policies and standards;
  • Create prevention and defense strategies against cyberspace threats based on situational understanding;
  • Establish procedures, practices and technologies aimed at digital security against illicit practices and damage to computers, networks, programs and data;
  • Act to prevent partial or total loss of data, theft of passwords, identity, bank details, the dissemination of SPAM, bribery to retrieve confidential information, among others;
  • Assist other professionals in developing an internal information security policy;
  • Monitor aspects related to the security of a company or business's systems and networks;
  • Ensure that data is stored and protected, in accordance with current premises and regulations, such as the General Personal Data Protection Law.

Job market

The Cybersecurity specialist will be able to work as a Cybersecurity Analyst in the most diverse areas that require digital security and in different roles such as: Application Security Analyst, Security Consultant, Information Security Analyst, DevSecOps, Data Governance Analyst or Coordinator, among others. In addition, he will be able to work on the most diverse types of innovative IT projects.
