Students from the Nursing Technician course at UNIALFA (UNIALFATEC) participated, on Monday (9), in a master class on updates in Basic Life Support (BLS) guidelines in pediatrics, held at the Perimetral unit. The activity brought together students from all periods of the course and focused on improving care in urgent and emergency situations.
The class was taught by nurse Cleidomar Ferreira dos Santos, director of SIENF Capacita, an initiative linked to the Nurses' Union focused on the qualification and updating of professionals in the health field.
During the meeting, the main updates to the pediatric emergency care protocols were presented, highlighting the importance of continuous training to ensure rapid, technical, and safe responses in patient care.
The program included practical demonstrations, service simulations, and interactive activities, allowing students to observe the application of the new guidelines in situations close to professional reality.
This initiative reinforces UNIALFA's commitment to providing up-to-date technical training aligned with the demands of the healthcare field, preparing future professionals to work safely and efficiently in urgent and emergency situations.
