Pharmacy students participate in an activity at the Casa de Deus Community Work Center

Last Saturday, May 10, second- and third-year Pharmacy students at UNIALFA attended Mother's Day and Easter celebrations held by the Casa de Deus Community Work Center. The event featured community-oriented socio-educational activities, focusing on topics covered in the Microbiology and Parasitology extension courses.

During the program, students developed interactive activities with the community, sharing information on health care, hygiene, and disease prevention. The activity, coordinated by Professor Carolina Miguel Fraga, provided an opportunity for students to experience firsthand the importance of their future profession, contributing to the development of more prepared pharmaceutical professionals committed to the well-being of the community.

In addition to the relevance of the topics covered, the initiative also stood out for its positive impact on relations between the university and the local community, with learning that goes beyond the classroom.
