Fifth-year students of the Aesthetics and Cosmetics program at UNIALFA held an outreach event at the Casa de Deus Community Work Center on September 22nd. Under the guidance of Professor Kátia Jaime, the students provided skin cleansing and facial revitalization services to the community.
The service represents not only an academic practice but also highlights the social impact of aesthetics, which contributes to skin health, emotional well-being, and self-esteem. This reinforces the course's social commitment, which seeks to bring knowledge, care, and support to the community.
The initiative provided students with the opportunity to apply, in practice, the knowledge acquired in the classroom, emphasizing the importance of direct contact with the public and the development of professional skills.
