UNIALFA Psychology student Raquel Fernandes Passos was honored on April 29, 2026, at the Goiânia City Council, during a ceremony promoted by councilwoman Ava Santiago in recognition of public safety professionals from the capital and metropolitan region.
Raquel was accompanied by her professor and internship supervisor, psychologist Aliciana Oliveira de Freitas. The student began her career as a Psychology intern at the Elderly Persons' Police Station and was later hired by the Civil Police of the State of Goiás to work in the institution's multidisciplinary team.
Currently, Raquel conducts home visits, mediation, and conflict resolution at the Elderly Persons' Police Station and the Police Station for Persons with Disabilities, standing out for her humanized approach and social commitment.
