2025 MOC Latam Conference

Call for Papers

 

The MOC members and associated researchers are invited to submit research papers related to the field of Microeconomics of Competitiveness.

Please refer to the Competitiveness Review’s list of issues that may be considered (https://www.emeraldgrouppublishing.com/cr.htm) such as:

 

  • Economic geography and International Business theories on competitiveness
  • Quantitative and qualitative methods to assess the competitiveness of firms and locations
  • Competitiveness and economic development
  • Competitiveness, eco-innovation, and value-based innovation
  • Competitiveness of urban areas and rural areas
  • Clusters and sustainable development of regions and cities
  • Clusters impact on the circular economy of firms and locations
  • Clusters and 5.0 industry
  • Industrial parks and competitiveness Clusters and 5.0 industry
  • Created shared value impact on firms and society
  • Institutions for competitiveness
  • Public policy fostering competitiveness of firms and of locations

 

Only scientific papers fulfilling the common standard of scientific journals (size, format, structure, etc.) will be taken into consideration. Therefore, annual reports, national reports and others are not suitable and will not be taken into consideration. The Competitiveness Review guidelines may be helpful to prepare your submission:

The Research Committee will select the best papers to be presented at the 2025 MOC Latam Conference Research Session (July 1st and 2nd). Any questions related to your submission can be directed to Mauricio Umana (mauricio.umana@catolica.edu.sv).

 

The submission deadline for papers is Friday, May 30th, 2025.

Please note that any submission addressed after this deadline will not be taken into consideration.
